It is a pleasure to arrive at Sofitel you feel so welcome by all the frontline staff. As it happened that night we were staying in a room with balcony and saw a magnificent display of drones and fireworks for the launch ceremony for the Olympic Games. Makes you want to come and stay there for July 14th. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant Les 3 Forts. Well worth it.

For the price you pay and the service you get, by far the worst 5 star hotel I ever stayed at. You get no service, they won't let you check in early, and during breakfast, you have to go to the server otherwise you won't get their attention and no service. I won't recommend.

The hotel feels old - and needs overhauling - bad lighting in the bathroom , I did not fit under the shower ceiling height was too low , the windows where condensed , the blinds bend - at checkout I was charged a different rate than I originally agreed upon - 267. Became 305 euro for no reason - it became an argument during checkout so I decided to pay the extra amount in order to settle it . At the restaurant trois……. . We had numerous times to repeat our request - we ordered water , we ordered bread , we asked for olive oil .

Airco was blowing hotter air than already hot room Opening windows was not an option due to the roadworks continuing during the night Hotel could not be reached by taxi Ridiculous to have to pay €290 for this
